About Us
Welcome to Colorado Salt Cave Wellness Center where we embark on a journey to holistic health and well-being. We thrive in giving each person the opportunity to experience deep and profound healing for the mind, body and soul. Our story begins with a personal experience that fueled the creation of a sanctuary dedicated to healing, alternative natural therapies, and relaxation.
In 2019, while navigating the challenging role of caretaking for her father who was sick and toward the end of life, our founder sought ways to combat her own stress, anxiety, and physical pain. During this journey, one of her discoveries was a Himalayan Salt Cave and the therapeutic benefits of halotherapy. Faced with the demands of work and home life, caretaking for both elderly parents, grief of loss, and battling the physical and emotional tolls of high stress, she found solace and rejuvenation in salt therapy, Ayurvedic practices, meditation, counseling, and targeted body therapies.
“While Death has been a frequent visitor, and grief has become my teacher, the process of healing with a new found understanding of holistic wellness has created space for joy.” Ro
Driven by the transformative impact on her mental well-being and overall health, the idea for Colorado Salt Cave Wellness Center was born. Our founder was determined to bring this unique sanctuary closer to home. She envisioned a holistic healing center right here in Colorado Springs.
Our mission is clear—to provide a haven for mind, body, and soul. We understand the on going challenges of life. High stress levels, unhealthy lifestyles, respiratory and environmental pollutants, lack of connection, and the need for a safe space that fosters true well-being.
Come and join us on this transformative journey towards a healthier, balanced, and more connected you!

Alexandra Benson – Wellness/Operations Manager, Social Media/Marketing Colorado Salt Cave Wellness Center
Alexandra has worked in the customer service industry for years and has a heart for serving people. Her exposure to holistic wellness began during ballet, taught by a retired ballerina from Japan who implemented breathing exercises and yoga as part of the curriculum. Before that, she had never had a ballet teacher who encouraged a healthy mental and emotional relationship with the art form in addition to focusing on the physical, so Alexandra fell in love with this new holistic methodology. Since then, she has expanded her wellness journey and used her passion for dance to fuel her work with natural wellness. Alexandra is also a model and dancer here in Colorado Springs and loves all things fashion and art-related. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, and soaking up the Colorado sun with her cat and husband.
Alexandra comes from a half-Indian household where Ayurveda was practiced in many small, unspoken ways. Foods like daal, kitchari, and spicy curries were staples from her dad’s kitchen, and her mom would supplement daily workouts with yoga, which they would practice together. She appreciated the emphasis on slowing down and living in contrast to busyness and chaos, and this is something she has worked to establish in her life.
She is very excited to be working with us and looks forward to supporting all those who come in as they focus on wellness and holistic health practices.

Robin Vidmar – Craniosacral Therapist, Massage Therapist
With 7 years of experience as a massage therapist, Robin is more excited than ever about the potential of body work for healing mental, emotional, and physical trauma as well as creating resiliency in all areas of people’s lives. Upon completing 2 years of nursing training and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Robin spent the next 23 years as a military spouse, mom, and home school teacher to her three amazing kids. She finally settled down in Colorado Springs after living around the world from Europe to Asia and coast-to-coast in the United States. For the past two years Robin has been using craniosacral therapy (CST) in her body work. She has been delighted to see its power to reduce the symptoms of PTSD in the veteran population; to create lasting changes in chronic pain and restrictions in movement; to enhance mental clarity and focus; to decrease stress and provide relaxation; to improve symptoms of TMJ; to decrease the frequency and severity of migraines and headaches; to improve sleep quality and quantity for those with insomnia issues; and to allow clients to connect to their body better—becoming more healthy, integrated people.
Lilla McPhearson – Foot Zone Therapist
Lilla considers herself a lifelong learner and is always researching and trying new things, especially alternative ways of living. Some may call her eccentric, a badge she wears proudly! She believes there is so much more to life than what we see on the surface, and the body’s innate ability to heal itself has always fascinated her. Lilla found out about foot zone therapy very much by accident, but when she did, she had to learn more! She enrolled in a program offered by Wellness Life Zone in Sandy, Utah and became a certified foot zone practitioner after an intense 7-month course of learning. Lilla is also a certified Reiki master, which she received in 2018. She looks forward to meeting new people and sharing this amazing healing modality with CO Salt Cave.
